Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, applications, and services operated by Arcaloria Inc. (“Arcaloria”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your region) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Accounts & Security

  • You may browse as a guest or create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
  • You must provide accurate and current information.
  • You agree to notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or a security issue involving your account.

3. Subscriptions, Renewals & Payments

  • Arcaloria may offer free, ad-supported, or paid subscription plans, including Premium and Family tiers. Features may vary by plan.
  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle until canceled.
  • You may cancel at any time in Account → Billing. Access remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe.
  • Applicable taxes may be added depending on your jurisdiction.

Refund Policy: Subscription purchases are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, you may contact us through the Contact page and we may review requests on an exceptional basis at our discretion. Refund requests must be submitted before deleting the account associated with the purchase. If an account is deleted, Arcaloria may be unable to verify usage or billing activity related to the subscription, which may affect refund eligibility.

By subscribing and accessing digital content immediately, you acknowledge that certain statutory withdrawal rights may not apply where permitted by law.

4. Licensed Content & Usage Rules

  • All manga, light novels, and other works available through the Service are officially licensed from their respective rights holders.
  • Content availability may change due to licensing requirements, geographic restrictions, or contractual obligations.
  • Content is provided solely for personal, non-commercial use within the Service.
  • You may not download, reproduce, redistribute, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content outside the Service unless explicitly permitted.
  • You may not remove, alter, or circumvent digital rights management (DRM), watermarking, or other security measures.

5. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Access the Service through unauthorized means.
  • Use bots, scrapers, automated tools, or any method that disrupts or overloads the Service.
  • Share accounts outside permitted Family profiles.
  • Resell or commercially exploit access to the Service.
  • Upload or distribute unlawful, infringing, or harmful material.
  • Interfere with the security, DRM, or integrity of the Service or its content.

6. Family Plans

Family plans may allow multiple profiles within a single subscription for household use. Profiles may maintain separate reading libraries and progress but may not be transferred or shared outside the household.

7. Device & Service Requirements

The Service requires a compatible device and a stable internet connection. Features and availability may vary depending on device, region, and network conditions.

8. Changes, Suspension & Termination

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, including content availability and features.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the integrity of the Service.
  • You may stop using the Service at any time. Canceling a subscription stops future billing but does not affect the current billing period.

9. Intellectual Property

  • The Service, including its design, software, and technology, is the property of Arcaloria Inc. or its licensors.
  • The Arcaloria name, logo, and related branding are trademarks of Arcaloria Inc.
  • All third-party content remains the property of its respective rights holders.
  • Except for the limited right to access the Service under these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you.

10. Copyright Complaints

If you believe that any content available on the Service infringes your copyright, please contact us through the Contact page with sufficient information to identify the material in question and the basis of your claim. We will review and respond to valid notices in accordance with applicable copyright laws.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARCALORIA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARCALORIA INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL ARCALORIA INC.’S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR ACCESS TO THE SERVICE DURING THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction where Arcaloria Inc. is established, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. If material changes occur, we will provide reasonable notice by updating the effective date or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after the changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
